Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has felicitated renowned sand artist Padmashri Sudarshan Pattanaik for winning the gold medal at the International Sand Art Championship at St Petersberg in Russia.
Majhi honoured Pattanaik at his Bhubaneswar-based residence in the presence of Culture Minister Suryabanshi Suraj.
The Chief Minister praised Pattnaik’s exceptional talent, saying that it has not only brought him individual recognition but has also made Odisha proud. He is a shining star and a source of pride for both Odisha and the nation.
With a plethora of national and international awards under his belt, Pattnaik continues to push the boundaries of sand art. The Chief Minister expressed his hope that Pattnaik will reach even greater heights of success and fame in the future.
