Bhubaneswar: A felicitation meeting was held at the conference hall of Kharavela Bhawan to honour Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, who is set to retire on December 31. The event celebrated his one and a half years of service as Chief Secretary, acknowledging his contributions to Odisha’s administrative sector.
Ahuja, alongside his fellow retired administrative officer Aarti Ahuja, shared their deep affection for Odisha, highlighting their commitment to the state’s development. In his address, Ahuja praised the administrative team’s capabilities, emphasising their knowledge, efficiency, and quality. He expressed optimism about Odisha’s future and wished civil servants well in their endeavours.
Principal Secretary Usha Padhee lauded Ahuja’s constructive and consultative approach, while Development Commissioner Anu Garg credited him for providing purposeful leadership and driving technological advancements.
Additional Chief Secretary Deoranjan Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary G. Mathi Vathanan, Principal Secretary Suresh Kumar Vashisth, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Saswata Mishra, Commissioner and Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department Aswathy S, Commissioner and Secretary, Skill Development and Technical Education Development Department Bhupendra Singh Punia were the chief guests and spoke about the long experience of administrative work associated with Chief Secretary Ahuja. The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Surendra Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary Hemant Sharma and Principal Secretaries, Commissioners and Secretaries of various departments.
