Sundargarh: Villagers at Chataktola village in Kuarmunda area of Sundargarh district thrashed a youth late last night on suspicion of being a child-lifter.
Reportedly, the youth’s activities had created suspicion in the mind of the villagers. It was after he failed to answer their questions they tied his hands and thrashed him.
Police later rescued him following which it was revealed that he is mentally challenged.
