Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) announced the tentative dates for the annual Plus II board examination, scheduled to commence on February 15, 2025. This advance notice is intended to assist students and educational institutions in completing the syllabus on time.
According to CHSE, the practical examinations are slated to take place between December 26, 2024, and January 15, 2025. However, the board reserves the right to revise the dates if necessary and any changes will be communicated to students through their schools and colleges, as well as posted on the board’s website. By announcing the exam dates early, CHSE aims to help students manage their time effectively, reduce stress, and plan their studies accordingly.
The Board Chairman Prashant Kumar Parida made this announcement.
As per the board’s decision, there will be changes to the question paper pattern for the Plus II exams in 2025. Instead of the usual 100 marks, students will now have to appear for an 80-mark theory exam. To pass, students need to secure at least 24 marks, which is 30% of the total. The remaining 20 marks will be allocated for internal assessments. However, the internal marks will not be added to the theory marks to determine pass or fail.
