Bhubaneswar: In view of the disruptions caused by Cyclone Montha and the subsequent holidays across several districts, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has extended the last date for enrollment of students for the Annual Plus II Examination 2026.
According to an official communication issued to all higher secondary schools affiliated with CHSE, enrollment for regular students and form fill-up for ex-regular students can now be completed without fine till November 11, 2025.
Students who miss the initial deadline will still be able to enroll by paying a late fine of ₹200 between November 13 and November 18, or a fine of ₹600 between November 19 and November 21, 2025.
The council has directed all institutions to ensure that the examination fees are deposited through SBI Collect within the prescribed schedule.
The CHSE also clarified that the revised enrollment timeline applies to students of all streams — Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational — including those pursuing correspondence courses.
The decision comes as a relief to thousands of students affected by the cyclone-induced disruptions in educational and administrative activities across the state.
