Bhubaneswar: The evaluation of Plus II answer sheets conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has begun today.
According to reports, as many as 8,258 teachers have been deployed across 151 evaluation centres in the first phase. On the very first day of evaluation, each teacher checked five answer scripts.
Notably, a total of 3,96,592 students had appeared for the Plus II examinations this year. The entire evaluation process will be carried out in two phases and will involve checking approximately 25 lakh answer scripts in total. Around 16,494 teachers will be engaged throughout the process. The evaluation is being conducted both online and offline. The first phase of answer script evaluation will continue till April 13. Online evaluation is being carried out at 75 centres, where 3,574 teachers have been assigned duties. On the other hand, offline evaluation will take place at 76 centres with 4,684 teachers will do the checking. The second phase of evaluation is scheduled to be held from April 15 to April 26.
Meanwhile, CHSE officials have made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth and timely completion of the evaluation process. The results of the Plus II examinations are expected to be declared in the second half of May 2026.
