**Rourkela**: Five persons were arrested yesterday by the Rourkela Police after they were caught faking examinee’s identities during the Central Industrial Security Force’s written exams for Constable Fire Recruitment.
The five accused are- Roshan Kumar, Ravish Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Ravishankar Kumar and Anuj Kumar. After interrogation, it has been discovered that the accused belong to Nawada, Vaishali and Nalanda districts of Bihar.
The CISF exams for the recruitment of fire constables were being held at various centres in Rourkela on Sunday. Following allegations from invigilators, Roshan was caught from Delhi Public School by Sector-15 police while the other four were caught from Guru Nanak Public School by Plant Site police.
“We were able to arrest the accused when their biometrics did not match with their faces. Two more examinees, Ravi Kumar and Chandan Kumar, were also involved in this. However, they have gone missing,” said Upendra Pradhan, IIC Plant Site.
A case under Sections 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered in connection with the incident.
