Bhubaneswar: Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant, is set to arrive in Odisha on Sunday, marking his first visit to the state since taking oath as CJI. He will participate in a special discussion session at Saheed Bhavan, Cuttack, organised by the Orissa High Court Bar Association.
The event will bring together prominent legal experts, advocates, and judicial officers to discuss key issues related to justice delivery and judicial reforms. Justice Surya Kant’s visit is significant, given his recent elevation as CJI, and is expected to inspire young lawyers and strengthen ties between the judiciary and the legal community in Odisha.
Preparations are underway to welcome the Chief Justice, with the Bar Association planning a structured program to showcase Odisha’s contributions to the legal field and facilitate meaningful dialogue.
