Class IX Student Critical While Attempting Stunt With Petrol In School

Bhubaneswar: A Class-IX student of Khajuria Balunkeswar Nodal Vidyapeeth under Brahmagiri block in Puri district sustained severe burn injuries while attempting a stunt with petrol in his mouth.

The injured student has been identified as Omm Satya Prakash Sahu, a resident of Dharmakirti village.

According to reports, the incident occurred during lunchtime in his school when Omm attempted a dangerous stunt involving petrol. He was rushed to the Rebana Nuagaon Community Health Centre and later referred to Puri Headquarters Hospital.

As his condition deteriorated he was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for further treatment.
