Class IX Student Electrocuted After Stepping On Snapped Live Wire In Jagatsinghpur

Bhubaneswar: A Class IX student died after being electrocuted while coming in contact with a snapped live wire in Chariakan village under Balikuda police station in Jagatsinghpur district.

The deceased student is Prasad Jena, son of Shankar Jena of the same village.

Prasad was playing in his backyard when he came in contact with the live electric wire that had snapped from the pole earlier.

He was taken to Balikuda Health Center in critical condition. There the doctor declared him dead.
