Bhubaneswar: Results of Class X High School Certificate (HSC) examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education will be out in the first week of May, informed board President Srikant Tarai following the completion of examinations today.
Talking to the media, Tarai also informed that the evaluation of answer sheets will commence from March 19.
Notably, a total of 5,12,437 students appeared for the matriculation exams held across 3,133 centres across Odisha.
The BSE had made extensive arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams. To prevent cheating, the BSE had implemented a four-tier squad system and installed CCTV cameras at all exam centres. Additionally, live streaming facilities were arranged at around 600 centres as part of the board’s measures to prevent malpractice during examinations.
To prevent question paper leaks, QR codes were embedded on each page, along with serial numbers next to each question.
