Bhubaneswar: A 10th class student of Sri Aurobindo Purnanga Shiksha Kendra, Khallikote, passed away unexpectedly this morning.
Mihir Pradhan (15), son of Santosh Pradhan, a resident of Bagalpur village, was studying in the school hostel.
He suddenly fell unconscious in the hostel premises and was rushed to Khallikote Community Health Center, where he was declared dead. The news spread shockwaves in the village and school, with family members, relatives, and locals gathering at the hospital.
Police and local authorities, including the MLA and Tehsildar, visited the spot to investigate the incident. The cause of Mihir’s death is unclear, leaving the villagers in grief.
