Bhubaneswar: A Class X student died after being drowned at Jayachandrapur village under Mahakalpada block in Kendrapara district.
The deceased has been identified as Bhagyashree Rout, a resident of Bandhapada village.
As per reports, Bhagyashree’s parents work in a textile mill in Gujarat, and she was living with her uncle’s family and studying in Bandhapada village. Bhagyashree slipped and fell into the pond while bathing.
Locals rushed to the scene and pulled her out of the water. They took her to the Kendrapara District Headquarters Hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
