Rayagada: A Class X student of a residential school at Kopapadar village in Bissamcuttack block of Rayagada district died after falling from the hostel roof on Thursday night.
The deceased identified as Bharat Bidika of Ghantikhal village was staying at the school hostel and appearing for the matriculation examination. He fell down from the hostel roof at around 8 PM yesterday.
He was rushed in an ambulance to Bissamcuttack Community Health Centre (CHC) where the doctor declared him dead. Meanwhile, locals have demanded a probe into the incident.
