CM Announces Rs 4 Lakh Ex-Gratia For Kin Of OSRTC Manager Killed In Sundargarh Accident

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely death of Amaresh Mohanty, District Manager of OSRTC in Sundargarh, who lost his life in a tragic road accident on Wednesday.

In a message posted on X, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) in Odia stated that Majhi has conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. As a mark of support, the Chief Minister has also approved an ex-gratia assistance of ₹4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the deceased’s immediate next of kin.

The state government has extended solidarity with the family during this difficult time, acknowledging Mohanty’s service and contribution to OSRTC in Sundargarh district.
