Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh for the next of kin of the woman killed in the stampede at the Singhanath temple in Badamba in Cuttack district during Makar Mela today.
Expressing deep sorrow over the demise of the woman, Patnaik extended his deep sympathies to the bereaved family.
The Chief Minister has ordered for providing free treatment to the injured in the mishap and has prayed for their early recovery.
