Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the demise of eminent cine actor and director Padma Shri Sadhu Meher.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said, “Padma Shri Sadhu Meher was an admirable personality in Odisha and at the national level for his powerful acting and direction.
He has left his mark both in Odia and Hindi cinema for his flawless acting. He is the first Odia actor to be conferred with the National Film Award. He has been honoured with several honours and awards for his excellence in the field of art. His departure is an irreparable loss to the art world.”
Wishing the departed soul peace, the Chief Minister has expressed his sympathies to the bereaved family.
