Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday undertook an aerial tour of the flood-hit areas of the State. Naveen flew over Khurda, Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara districts to review and assess the damages inflicted by the flood.
The ravaging flood in Mahanadi river basin has affected 4.67 lakh people of 1,757 villages in 10 districts of the State. Similarly, 2.50 lakh people in 425 villages have been marooned in the calamity.
