Cuttack: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated Odisha’s first state of the art Cuttack Netaji Bus Terminal (CNBT).
Chief Minister Naveen flagged off the first bus from the new bus terminus. The first bus rolled out to Puri.
The state of the art bus terminal has been built on 15 acres of land at a cost of more than Rs 90 crore.
The new terminus has 192 bays for parking of and movement of 192 buses apart from the waiting room, restroom, and Aahar Kendra for the passengers. The terminus has separate ticket counters for male and female commuters.
Apart from CCTV surveillance, the terminal will have a police outpost for the security of the passengers.
The terminus has basic passenger amenities like Mission Shakti cafe, Aahar Kendra, ATM, mobile phone charging points, etc.
