Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today laid the foundation stone for the new annex building of the Special Circuit House and the new Tehsil Office and Sub-Registrar Office in Cuttack.

The Special Circuit House building will be built with 5 floors and will be built on an area of about 20,175 square meters at a cost of Rs. 13 crore 28 lakh. The Tehsil Office and Sub-Registrar Office will be built with 4 floors and will be built on an area of about 3,672 square meters at an investment of Rs. 18.80 crore.

Speaking to the media on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the new Tehsil Office and Sub-Registrar Office in Cuttack will have all kinds of modern facilities. Those who come to the Tehsil and Sub-Registrar Office for land registration work will be able to get all the services conveniently.

With this, people’s problems can be solved conveniently in the office, they will no longer have to run to the offices of higher officials. Our main goal is to provide various government services to people in all areas easily and conveniently. This will improve the ease of living of the people. Our efforts will continue to achieve this goal.

The Chief Minister said that the Tehsil offices will work as a one-stop solution regarding land acquisition. He added that our government has decided to open sub-registration offices in all the tehsils of the state. On November 1, new sub-registration offices were inaugurated in 44 tehsils of 13 districts.

All the tehsil sub-registration offices have been opened, leaving about 56 tehsils. These will also be opened soon and their new office buildings will also be built. We have done most of the arrangements regarding land registration and other matters digitally. By using technology, the revenue services are being made free from intermediaries and corruption.

Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, Cuttack Barabati MLA Sophia Firdosh, Cuttack Choudwar MLA Souvhik Biswal, Cuttack Sadar MLA Prakash Sethi, Banki MLA Devi Ranjan Tripathi, and District Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde were prominently present at the event.
