Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow over a fatal accident at Khallikote tehsil in Ganjam district and announced a financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to the deceased’s next of kin.
The accident victim has been identified as Vijay Das, son of Natbar Das of Khallikote.
The financial assistance from Chief Minister Relief Fund is provided to the families of victims who died due to unforeseen tragedies, such as road accident, hoarding collapses and job aspirants’ deaths during recruitment among fatalities.
