Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday congratulated sprinter Animesh Kujur for winning the bronze medal in the 200m event at the Asian Athletics Championships held in South Korea.
Kujur, a 21-year-old athlete from Odisha, clocked an impressive 20.32 seconds to finish third, breaking his own national record of 20.40 seconds set earlier this year at the Federation Cup.
His performance not only earned him a podium finish but also reaffirmed his status as one of India’s top sprinting talents.
