Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today appointed Boudh MLA Saroj Kumar Pradhan as the Government Chief Whip for the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly.
Similarly, Majhi has appointed Remuna MLA Gobinda Chandra Das as the Government Deputy Chief Whip for the 17th Odisha Assembly.
The Parliamentary Affairs Department has issued two separate notifications in this regard.
“Hon’ble Chief Minister is pleased to appoint Sri Saroj Kumar Pradhan, Hon’ble MLA Boudh as the Government Chief Whip for the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly with immediate effect,” reads the notification issued by the Parliamentary Affairs Department.
A similar notification was issued by the Department concerning the appointment of Remuna MLA Gobinda Chandra Das as the Government Deputy Chief Whip.
