Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today assured that the Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannath is progressing smoothly under the Deity’s blessings.
“By the blessings of Lord Jagannath, the Bahuda Yatra is proceeding without any hindrance. To ensure peaceful darshan for devotees, the government has arranged a green corridor and ambulance services. Over 25,000 security personnel have been deployed to maintain law and order, while traffic police are managing the vehicular movement effectively,” the Chief Minister stated.
He further affirmed that the government has taken all necessary measures to make the sacred reunion of the Lord with his devotees both unique and memorable, personally overseeing the arrangements to ensure their success.

Meanwhile, a massive crowd of devotees gathered in Puri today to witness the Holy Bahuda Yatra, as the Deities began their return journey from the Gundicha Temple aboard their divine chariots. The procession commenced ahead of schedule at around 3 pm from Sharadhabali, moving towards the Jagannath Temple following the completion of all rituals.
