Bhubaneswar: The newly elected Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today celebrated ‘Raja Parba’ at the State Museum in Bhubaneswar.
Majhi visited the State Museum today and participated in various programs organized there. Majhi exchanged conversations with the public on this occasion.
CM Majhi congratulated the public at the programme organized by the Odia Language Literature & Culture Department by paying floral tributes to the statue of Fakir Mohan Senapati.
The CM also celebrated the festival with a plantation and unveiled a souvenir based on Odisha’s art and culture. He also highlights the importance of the special Pithas and sweet Paan on the festival of masses.
The CM was accorded a rousing welcome with the tune of traditional song and dance. The Dulduli dance of Sonepur was a major attraction of the celebration.
Art exhibition, Pitha and Paan distribution also added a special flavour to the celebration.
The CM was accompanied by the Culture department secretary Shalini Pandit, Ekamra MLA Babu Singh, BJP leader Jagannath Pradhan.
