Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the family of Amadula Haq Khan, a Home Guard candidate who died during a physical examination in Khurda today.
“On learning about the demise of Amadula Haq Khan (father- Tajbula Haq Khan), a candidate for Home Guard recruitment in Khordha, Chief Minister Shri
Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief and condoled the demise of his family. He has also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to the next of kin of the deceased,” the CMO tweeted.
Khan, a 40-year-old man from the Keranga area, felt unwell during the 1,600-metre running test at the district headquarters in Khurda. He was rushed to the district headquarters hospital and later shifted to another hospital in Bhubaneswar, where he unfortunately succumbed to his condition.
The Chief Minister has expressed deep grief and condolences to Khan’s family and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to the next of kin of the deceased.
