Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated young weightlifter Harshvardhan Sahu on his national recognition in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

It is pertinent to mention that a total of 26 records were made in Khelo India this time. In the weightlifting competitions, the brilliant performances of Asmita Dhone of Maharashtra, Harshvardhan Sahu of Odisha, and Tushar Chaudhary of Uttar Pradesh won everyone’s hearts.
In the weightlifting 49-kilogram class, Harshvardhan set a new record in the Khelo India Youth Games with a gold in the clean and jerk category, lifting 115 kilograms.
