CM Majhi, Deputy CMs Extend Warm Wishes To Odisha People On Bada Osa

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, has extended warm wishes to the people of Odisha on the auspicious occasion of Bada Osa.

This significant festival is celebrated with great fervour at the Dhabaleswar Temple in Cuttack, where thousands of devotees gather to offer prayers to Lord Shiva.

Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida took to their respective social media accounts to extend warm greetings and good wishes to the people of Odisha on the auspicious occasion of Bada Osa, hoping for the well-being of all.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Ministers wished the people of Odisha peace, prosperity, and happiness, highlighting the importance of Bada Osa in showcasing the state’s rich cultural heritage.

Bada Osa is a revered festival in Odisha, particularly at the Dhabaleswar Temple, which is famous for its spiritual ambiance and architectural beauty. The festival involves various rituals, including fasting, offering prayers, and charity. Devotees observe a strict fast, offer items like milk, water, and flowers to Lord Shiva, and participate in community gatherings.
