Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi felicitated two President award-winning teachers Dwiti Chandra Sahu and Santsh Kumar Kar.
While congratulating them, the Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride to get these two talented teachers from Odisha in 2024 national award program. Science teacher Santosh Kumar Kar has established himself as a renowned and ideal teacher by creating interest in science through the application of innovative teaching methods and explaining science education to children in an easy method.
Similarly, art teacher Dwiti Chandra Sahu has done a commendable job of showcasing tribal culture and art in education with entertaining teaching. Due to these high ideals and efforts of both of them, they have been admired at the national level today.
The Chief Minister further said that our government is continuing its efforts to bring the best system in the education system of the state. The budget also provides for the improvement of education infrastructure. One ‘Godabarish Mishra Model Primary School’ will be opened in every Panchayat to strengthen the foundation of children at the primary level.
Notably, Santosh Kumar Kar was a science teacher at Narla Road Jay Durga High School in Kalahandi district and Dwiti Chandra Sahu is working as an art teacher at Bilesu Government High School under ST/SC Development Department of Rayagada district.
On this occasion, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja said that it is the responsibility of our teachers to make children a good citizen in the future. Teachers like Kar and Sahu are an inspiration to all those working in the field of education, he added.
