CM Majhi Holds First Review Meeting With Top Officials On Govt Works

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today reviewed government works at a high-level meeting with top officers in the presence of deputy CMs KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary PK Jena, Development Commissioner Anu Garg and Principal Secretaries of various departments.

The Chief Secretary gave a presentation on the detailed information regarding Odisha’s overall development, economic status and challenges.

Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Finance Secretary Vishal Dev, Agriculture Secretary Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Secretary Suresh Kumar Vashishth participated in the meeting.

After the meeting, Chief Secretary Jena said that it was the first formal meeting after the new government was formed.

“We gave a presentation on the current situation of Odisha. The presentation covered Odisha’s population, its geographical situation, its economy, and probable challenges. Two- three more such meetings will be held in the next three to four days,” Jena said.
