Keonjhar/Bhubaneswar: In a significant boost to rural connectivity, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday inaugurated a long-awaited bridge over the Ardei Nullah in Bodapalasa Gram Panchayat under Keonjhar Sadar, fulfilling a key demand of local residents.
The bridge, stretching over 100 metres, has been constructed to ease transportation challenges faced by people in the area and adjoining five panchayats. With its completion, more than 5,000 residents are expected to benefit from improved daily connectivity.
Dedicating the bridge to the public, the Chief Minister said the project would eliminate long-standing commuting difficulties and open up new avenues for development in the region. He emphasised that the infrastructure would provide Bodapalasa Gram Panchayat with a renewed identity and strengthen connectivity in Keonjhar Sadar.
Among those present on the occasion were District Planning Board Chairman Dr. Fakir Mohan Naik, Patna MLA Akhil Naik, and Keonjhar District Collector Vishal Singh.
