Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday inaugurated 52 projects worth approximately ₹100 crore and laid the foundation stones for 106 projects worth around ₹275 crore for the Kaptipada sub-division of tribal-dominated Mayurbhanj district.
The Chief Minister launched these projects, undertaken by the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, at the ‘Bikasha Pathe Mayurbhanj’ programme held in the Patpur area of Udala.
These initiatives include the construction of Anganwadi centers, pond rejuvenation, public service centers, community health centers, and cooperative societies, among others. Additionally, several temples have been built to preserve tribal culture, including a dedicated community center for the Bathudi community.
Highlighting the significance of these projects, the Chief Minister stated that these projects would usher in a new wave of development for the Kaptipada sub-division and play a crucial role in building a ‘Viksit Odisha.’
