Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi participated in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ procession in Cuttack’s Bayalis Mauja today. Hundreds of people joined the mega procession in a massive display of patriotism.

The procession, which covered about 10 kilometres from Bayalis Mauja to Kalapada, saw the Chief Minister riding in an open jeep, proudly holding the national flag.

The event drew large crowds, with people on bikes carrying the national flag and chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” Women welcomed the Chief Minister with flowers and lamps at various points along the route. Speaking to the media at the end of the procession, CM Majhi emphasised the significance of the national flag, saying it symbolises the country’s resolve, struggle, sacrifice, and self-denial.

The Chief Minister noted that the procession, organised in response to the Prime Minister’s call, aims to promote respect and protection for the national flag and foster patriotism. The event was attended by Cuttack MLA Prakash Sethi, local representatives, and thousands of people, highlighting its role in strengthening national unity.
