Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi left for New Delhi on a two-day tour to attract investments to Odisha.
“I will have one-on-one discussions with various investors during my two-day visit. I will urge investors to come to Odisha to attend an investor meet,” Majhi told reporters at the airport before departing for the national Capital.
The dates for Utkarsh Odisha: Make-in Odisha 2025 conclave have been fixed as January 28 and 29, 2025. Discussions will prioritize investments in food processing, IT, chemicals, and petrochemicals, informing investors about Odisha’s positive ecosystem for investment and industrial establishment.
The state aims to attract Rs 5.5 lakh crore in capital over the next five years. Notably, Rs 45,000 crore has already been invested in Odisha in the last 100 days.
Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain and departmental officials will accompany the Chief Minister to the meeting. “With Lord Jagannath’s blessings, my endeavour is to lead Odisha towards rapid industrialization,” Majhi said.
This initiative aligns with Odisha’s goal to draw significant investments. The government will host road shows, including one in New Delhi, ahead of Utkarsh Odisha.
