Bhubaneswar: The newly appointed members of the Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee met Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan on Monday and expressed their gratitude for the reconstitution of the committee tasked with overseeing the temple’s administration.
In a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister’s Office (@CMO_Odisha) stated that the Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to developing Puri into the country’s foremost religious and tourist destination. He assured that all necessary support would be extended for the service of Lord Jagannath and the holistic development of the temple and its surroundings.
“The government is focused on creating better facilities in Puri for both devotees and tourists,” the social media post read.
On this occasion, Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, along with members of the Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee—Krushna Chandra Sarmantray, Raghubir Das Maharaj, Ramnarayan Gochhikar, Madhusudan Singhari, and Jagannath Pujapanda—were present.
