Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday, following the 10th NITI Aayog governing council meeting. During their meeting, Majhi thanked Modi for his support and vision for Odisha’s development.

We held meaningful discussions on the state’s holistic progress with a strong emphasis on accelerating growth in infrastructure, welfare, and employment. Committed to working together for the progress of our state and nation, driven by the shared vision of Viksit Odisha, Viksit Bharat,” Majhi posted on ‘X’.
Sources said the CM invited Modi to attend the celebrations marking one year of the BJP government in the State.
Majhi briefed the Prime Minister on the state government’s performance over the past year and discussed future plans. The two leaders are believed to have discussed a roadmap for Odisha’s future development.
Additionally, Majhi met Union Health Minister J P Nadda, discussing ways to improve healthcare infrastructure in Odisha, particularly in remote areas. He requested central support to enhance medical facilities, expand education opportunities, and increase healthcare accessibility in these areas.
Majhi is scheduled to attend a meeting of all NDA chief ministers called by Prime Minister Modi on Sunday, as part of his four-day visit to Delhi, which began on Friday.
