CM Majhi Orders Lifting Of Ban On Home Guard Recruitment

Bhubaneswar: The State government has lifted the ban on recruitment of home guards in the State.

The ban has been withdrawn on the orders of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

With this, the vacant posts of home guards in the state can be filled soon.

It is worth noting that the total number of home guard posts in the state is 17,675 while 15,306 home guards are working. As many as 2,369 posts are vacant.

The posts left vacant can be filled following the government’s decision.
