Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi paid a courtesy call on Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday – ahead of the Assembly Budget session which begins from Thursday.
The session will open with the Governor’s speech on Thursday when he will present a picture of the development and progress of the state. In the coming days, he will also present the state government’s plan for a developed Odisha.
There are 28 working days in the Budget session which will be held in two phases. The first phase will be from February 13 to 21 and the second phase from March 7 to April 5.
The Budget for the financial year 2025-26 will be presented on February 17. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who is in charge of the Finance Department, will present the full Budget for the second time.
