CM Majhi To Attend Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Website Launch In New Delhi Today

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is heading to New Delhi today to attend the launching ceremony of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas website.

As per reports, the launching is scheduled to take place at C B Muthamma Hall of Jawaharlal Nehru Bhavan at Hotel Ashok.  Majhi is expected to arrive at Hotel Ashok in New Delhi at 12:45 pm and will stay overnight before departing for Bhubaneswar at 9:45 am tomorrow.

The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas website launch is a precursor to the upcoming 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Summit, which will be held in Bhubaneswar in January 2025. This prestigious event celebrates the contributions of the Indian diaspora and will take place at Janata Maidan.

It is pertinent to note that Odisha will host the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in the capital city Bhubaneswar from January 8- January 10 next year. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved a proposal in this regard sent by the Union Ministry of External Affairs. The mega event will be held at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.

The event is expected to bring together prominent members of the Indian diaspora, facilitating discussions on key issues and opportunities for collaboration.
