Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Monday is set to distribute appointment letters to 1,686 candidates who have been selected across seven departments.
As per reports, the departments that will be issuing these appointment letters include the Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment Department, Finance Department, Water Resources Department, Law Department, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department, Health and Family Welfare Department, and Skill Development and Technical Education Department.
The breakdown of the candidates receiving appointment letters is as follows: 34 candidates from the Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment Department, 61 from the Finance Department, 413 from the Water Resources Department, 37 from the Law Department, 23 from the Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department, 982 from the Health and Family Welfare Department, and 136 from the Skill Development and Technical Education Department.
In a significant development for the state’s infrastructure and economy, 27 new projects are slated for foundation stone laying which is expected to generate employment opportunities for over 51,826 persons. These projects will also attract a substantial investment of more than Rs 25,380 crore.
Additionally, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and Minister of Skill Development and Technical Education will participate in a special programme at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology.
