Bhubaneswar: The festival calendar of Lord Jagannath, published by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), was unveiled by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the Singhdwara of the 12th century shrine in Puri on Sunday.

Before its unveiling, the calendar was offered to Lord Jagannath. During the occasion, the Chief Minister greeted the people of the state on the Odia New Year.

State Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, and SJTA Chief Administrator Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee were present. Before unveiling the calendar, the Chief Minister and other officials had darshan of the holy trinity.

The calendar contains information on festivals and rituals from Mahabisuba Sankranti 2025 to Ramabhishek Tithi 2026. Dates were decided after consultations with servitor Nijoga, Muktimandap pandits, and almanac writers. A guidebook for Srimandir, published for the first time, was also unveiled.

The calendar will be available for purchase at Srimandir administration’s information centres. The Chief Administrator greeted devotees on the occasion and sought Lord Jagannath’s blessings.
