CM Majhi Visits Barabati Stadium, Reviews Preparations For India-England ODI Match On Feb 9

Cuttack: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi reviewed the preparations of the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) cricket match between India and England on February 9th at Barabati Stadium on Friday. Along with this, he released the welcome song prepared for the match and said that Barabati Stadium will be reconstructed very soon.

“The state government is taking all possible steps to ensure the success of the ODI match,” Chief Minister Majhi told the media today.

Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) secretary Sanjay Behera welcomed the Chief Minister and informed him about the preparations for the match. Sports Minister Suryabansi Suraj, MLAs Prakash Behera and Devi Ranjan Tripathi and Chief Minister’s Advisor Prakash Mishra were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister inspected the grounds of the stadium. The stadium has a total capacity of 44,574 spectators of which 24,692 tickets will be sold to the general public from the counters. Tickets will be available at the Barabati counter on two days on February 5 and 6.
