Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held his 15th public grievance hearing on Monday, reviewing individual complaints and requests from around 1,000 citizens who had pre-registered online. The hearing aimed to address welfare-related issues and provide solutions to the citizens’ problems.
CM’s 15th grievance hearing witnessed a heartwarming moment where a woman called CM ‘Messiah’ and thanked him for enrolling her in welfare schemes.
According to reports, Bidyutprabha Sarangi, a resident from Bhubaneswar’s Jaydev Bihar area, attended the Chief Minister’s public grievance hearing on Monday, not to lodge a complaint, but to express her gratitude. She thanked Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for enrolling her in various welfare schemes, including the new ration card and Subhadra Yojana assistance.
Sarangi told the Chief Minister that the previous government had deprived them of these benefits, but his government had brought relief to her family.
She praised Majhi, saying, “You are not just our Chief Minister, you are our Messiah.”
Sarangi also prayed to the Mahaprabhu Jagannath, saying, “May you continue to be our Messiah every year.”
The Chief Minister, in his reply, said, “Our government is committed to the welfare of all, guided by the vision of our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji. ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas’ is our governance mantra. We aim to ensure the well-being of everyone. Listening to and understanding the joys and sorrows of our citizens is our duty, and we will continue to uphold this principle.”
