Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi paid a courtesy call on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi. During the meeting, Majhi discussed Odisha’s development projects and the state’s vision for building a prosperous Odisha, referred to as “Samruddha Odisha”.
The Chief Minister presented “Odisha Vision 2036 | 2047” to the President, outlining the state’s future development plans. They also explored ways to accelerate Odisha’s progress through coordinated efforts between the Centre and the state.
Majhi also met with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and discussed key issues concerning the state’s development. Their discussion focused on expanding railway infrastructure, growing the semiconductor industry, and strengthening the IT sector.
The meeting highlighted the Centre’s commitment to Odisha’s development, with initiatives aimed at improving connectivity and industrial growth. Majhi also paid a courtesy visit to Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, in New Delhi, as part of his ongoing engagements with Union ministers to advance Odisha’s development agenda.
