Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited the famous pilgrimage site of Sarnath in Varanasi, where he and his family paid respects at the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon.
This sacred visit was a moment of great honor for the Chief Minister. He shared his feelings on social media, expressing gratitude to those who have played a role in preserving the historic site.
In a post on X, CM Majhi said, “It is an honour to visit Sarnath, a place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, a message of peace, wisdom, and enlightenment. I am deeply moved by the efforts made to preserve and showcase this heritage, signifying our timeless values of compassion and knowledge, to visitors from around the world. My heartfelt gratitude to the people who have been instrumental in maintaining this historic site.”
Earlier today, CM Majhi also visited the Ram Lalla Temple in Ayodhya, where he and his family had the opportunity to have a divine darshan of Ram Lalla.
