CM Mohan Majhi Announces Sep 9 As Nuakhai Holiday

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced September 9 as a public holiday on account of Odisha’s mass agrarian festival ‘Nuakhai’.

Since Nuakhai falls on September 8 which is Sunday, the government announced September 9 as a holiday as well.

All government offices and magisterial courts of in the State will remain closed on September 9. Along with this, all educational institutions will also remain shut on the same day.
