CM Mohan Majhi Calls For Collective Action To Combat Thalassemia

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi marked World Thalassemia Day by emphasising the importance of collective action in combating the disease.

In a tweet, he highlighted the need for raising awareness, supporting patients, and strengthening screening and treatment efforts. Majhi stressed that early detection can save countless lives.

“On #WorldThalassemiaDay, let us reaffirm our commitment to raising awareness, supporting patients, and strengthening screening and treatment efforts. Early detection and collective action can save countless lives”, read the tweet of Chief Minister Majhi.

By prioritizing awareness and support, the state aims to make a positive impact on the lives of thalassemia patients.
