Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed gratitude to all those who were involved in managing the Cyclone ‘Dana resulting in zero casualties.
He praised the collective efforts of government officials, voluntary organizations, and citizens for achieving the ‘Zero Casualty’ mission.
“By the immense blessings of Lord Jagannath, the calamity passed from State. Everyone worked round-the-clock to protect the people and provide them with the services they needed. I thank all the Council of Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and administrative officers, and voluntary organizations for successfully achieving the Government’s ‘Zero Casualty’ mission,” Majhi said in a statement.
“This government belongs to you (the public). To serve and help you is our moral duty and responsibility,” he added.
The CM also commended the public for their cooperation, patience, and resilience during the storm. The government has instructed all the departments to conduct damage assessments and provide necessary aid.
