Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today extended greetings to the people of Odisha on Vijaya Dashami.
Majhi, taking to his X handle, stated, “My greetings and best wishes to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Holy Vijaya Dashami. May the immense mercy of Maa Durga bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to everyone’s life.”

Majhi visited various puja pandals in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack over the last two days and offered prayers seeking blessings and wellness for the State. On Saturday, he visited 40 puja pandals in Cuttack and caught a glimpse of Goddess Durga in the millennium city. During his visit, he also announced plans to convert Cuttack into a smart city in the future.
The CM is scheduled to visit various puja pandals in his hometown, Keonjhar, after performing puja at his house in Raikala village. He will come back to Bhubaneswar on Monday.
Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik also extended good wishes through a video message, praying for the peace and wellness of all people in the State.

Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida also expressed wishes on Dussehra.
“On the auspicious occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja, heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the people of Odisha. May the boundless grace of Jagat Janani Maa Durga fill everyone’s lives with happiness, peace, and compassion. Jai Maa Durga!,” Singh Deo wrote on ‘X’.
