Keonjhar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the 74th annual conference of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) at Dharanidhar Medical College auditorium in Keonjhar on Sunday.
The Chief Minister left the N.C. College ground in Jajpur at 9.30 am boarding a helicopter and landed at the helipad near DD Medical College in Keonjhar at 9:55 am.
Inaugurating the event, Majhi said, “It is a pleasure to inaugurate the 74th State Annual Conference of the Indian Medical Association (IMA). The invaluable role of the IMA in serving humanity is truly commendable. I believe healthcare professionals are nothing short of being ‘second to God’ for their dedication and selfless service.”
He said, “Our government remains committed to supporting and implementing necessary modifications to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and medical education across Odisha.”
Later, the Chief Minister wrote on his X handle, “Despite the healthcare challenges in Keonjhar, a land rich in minerals, I emphasised the need for collective efforts to elevate Dharanidhar Medical College into a leading institution of excellence.”
